The importance of restoring architectural heritage lies in the necessity
for its safeguard and transfer to the future generations in its best integrity. It has been largely demonstrated
that the outdated function of a building occurs long before the building has outlived its usefulness. In this
context, B4FS has developped a large know-how in the restoration and conversion of highly valued heritage buildings.
B4FS work is framed within the international accepted principles that guide contemporary intervention in listed
buildings : minimum intervention, respect for authenticity, clear distinction between what already exists and what
has already been restored, and the possibility, in conceptual terms, of reversing the performance. | |
